Who we are
Creole AI Labs runs the PCTwin waitlist and decides how your details are used. In data protection law, that makes us the “controller”.

What we collect
What you give us. Your email address. That is the only thing we need.
If you choose to tell us, we also keep: your laptop now, your next laptop, what would help you most, the language you would like our emails in, your country, and whether you want occasional news.
What we record about your choices. When you joined, and when you changed your choices or unsubscribed.
What is processed to run the form. A security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) looks at signals such as your IP address, your browser’s user agent and a fingerprint of your connection, to tell people from automated programs (Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy addendum). Like most websites, our servers also record basic technical details of each visit, such as your IP address and the time, to keep the service safe and stop abuse. To limit repeated attempts, our database keeps only a scrambled, keyed version of your network, never the address itself, for up to two days.
Why we use it
To send you a short welcome email when you join, and one email when PCTwin is ready. To send occasional news, only if you asked for it. To use your optional answers to decide which laptops and languages to support first. To keep the signup form safe from abuse.
We do not use your details for anything else.
Our legal basis
For the emails and your optional answers: your consent. You give it when you join. You can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing does not make our earlier use of your details unlawful.
For the security check and server records: our legitimate interest in keeping the service safe and working.
Where your details are processed
Cloudflare runs services in many countries, so your details may be processed outside the country where you live, including in the United States, and our mail server is in the Netherlands, in the European Union. We protect transfers to the United States with the standard contractual clauses in Cloudflare’s data processing agreement.
Cookies
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The security check on the signup form (Cloudflare Turnstile) only checks that you are a person. It does not follow you across other websites.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
After you unsubscribe, we keep only a short record that your address unsubscribed, so that we honour your choice and never email you again by mistake. Ask us and we will delete that too.
Our database keeps automatic backups for up to 30 days, so deleted details disappear from the backups within 30 days.
Server security records are kept for up to 7 days.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, give you a copy in a common file format, stop using them, or stop all emails.
You can withdraw your consent or object to how we use your details at any time.
Email privacy@getpctwin.com. We will reply within 14 days. It costs nothing.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live, for example the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, or your national authority in the EU or the UK.
Children
Anyone can join the waitlist. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian first, because the law where you live may require it. If you think a child has joined without that permission, email privacy@getpctwin.com and we will delete their details.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will update the date at the top. If a change matters to you, we will email you before it takes effect.
